WHY ABOVE ALL PATC EXISTS
Most people do not need another explanation of what is wrong with them.
They need a place where they can settle enough to tell the truth, understand their patterns without shame, and practice something different.
Safety does not always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like taking off your shoes, reaching for a blanket, laughing between hard moments, crying without apologizing, or sitting in silence without needing to fill it.

At Above All, the experience of therapy is part of the therapy.
The room, the pacing, the preparation, the relationship, and the work itself are all intentional.
Because insight matters. But healing happens in the living.

WHY "ABOVE ALL" PATC?
The name Above All comes from a belief that became clearer through my own healing work:
Above all, love matters.
But love is not only about other people.
If you do not know how to care for yourself, trust yourself, or tell yourself the truth, it becomes harder to receive love well, give it clearly, or live it fully.
Above All exists to help people build a better relationship with themselves so they can show up differently in their relationships, choices, boundaries, and everyday lives.
That is why the work here is thoughtful, relational, and intentional.
Not because you are broken.
But because change can become more possible when you feel cared for enough to do hard things.

MEET LEXIE LOMAN
FOUNDER & LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
I’ve spent 15 years in mental health helping people understand the patterns underneath what they think, feel, and do.
I built Above All for people who can explain why they do what they do—and still cannot stop living it.
My own healing work, including psychedelic experiences, clarified something I now see in therapy every day:
Love and connection matter, but the relationship you have with yourself shapes what you are able to do with both.
That understanding shaped the way I built this practice.
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can exhale, settle in, and still do some of the hardest work of your life—a place where comfort and honesty can exist alongside the work.
My work may draw from psychotherapy, EMDR, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and the Gremlins & Goats framework I created.
I do not use every approach with every person.
The work is shaped around you.
The goal is not to fix you.
It is to help you understand what has been running your life and create more choice in what happens next.
People often describe me as easy to talk to, compassionate, encouraging, and genuine. I want counseling to be a place where you feel heard and understood—and where we can also have honest conversations about what may be keeping you stuck. To me, compassion is not telling you what you want to hear. It is helping you see yourself and your circumstances more clearly while supporting you through what comes next.
I see counseling as a collaborative process. You are the expert on your life; I bring perspective, practical tools, and support. Together, we can explore what is happening, identify patterns, and find changes that fit your goals, values, and daily life.
My approach is primarily influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness-based practices, including concepts from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. CBT helps us understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behavior and build more useful ways of responding. Mindfulness helps us notice our experiences without immediately judging or reacting to them. Both can create room for greater awareness, self-compassion, and intentional choice.
I also consider how physical and emotional well-being affect one another. Sleep, nutrition, hydration, movement, time outdoors, and daily routines do not solve every mental health challenge, but they can strengthen the foundation beneath the work. When relevant, we may explore realistic, sustainable changes that support your overall well-being—not perfection.
Finding the right counselor matters. My hope is that you feel respected, empowered, and better equipped to navigate what brought you here. If we are not the right fit, you still deserve support from someone who is.
MEET ALICIA
CLINICAL INTERN

Alicia joined Above All in 2026 and is completing her clinical training alongside Lexie. Her experience is developing gradually through observation, participation, and supervised clinical work. As she completes her education and supervision requirements, her role within the Above All clinical team will continue to grow.
THE FRAMEWORK BEHIND THE WORK

Our work is informed by Gremlins & Goats—a shared language for understanding why patterns formed and what you want to strengthen next.
The Gremlin
The familiar belief, story, or protective pattern that keeps making decisions.
The Goat
The truth, behavior, or way of living you want to practice and strengthen.
Above All is where this framework is used in clinical care.
Lighthouse is where it is taught, shared, and expanded through experiences, professional learning, and organizational work.
In both spaces, the goal is the same:
Understand the pattern. Practice something different. Live with more truth, freedom, and connection.
