Hello

Hi, I’m Lexie Loman. I’m a licensed therapist and founder of Thrive, a mental health community where I guide people in building resilience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence through innovative, science-based therapy programs. With certifications in EMDR, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and sound healing, I bring a blend of traditional and progressive therapeutic approaches to my work. My background in psychology and human relations, combined with years of experience in both hospital settings and private practice, allows me to help clients on meaningful paths of healing and growth.

My Story

I grew up in Small Town, Oklahoma, and from a young age, I was drawn to understanding people’s inner lives and helping them through challenges. This led me to pursue a bachelor's in psychology and a master’s in human relations at the University of Oklahoma, setting the foundation for a career devoted to mental health and personal growth. After spending five years working in a psychiatric hospital, I felt a calling to build something that could meet people in their journeys in a more holistic and personalized way. So, I opened my own private practice, where I’ve been working with individuals for over seven years to cultivate resilience and foster a deeper understanding of self.

My career has been a journey of learning, too. I expanded my expertise with certifications in EMDR and psychedelic-assisted therapy, discovering new, evidence-backed ways to help people heal. And my interests have only grown, leading me to sound healing, creativity-focused therapies, and launching Thrive—a community that empowers individuals to explore emotional intelligence, adaptability, and connection in ways that are both therapeutic and interactive.

In my personal life, I’m a musician and writer who’s found comfort and creativity in music, fiction, and self-help writing. I published a self-help book, Gremlins & Goats: Shedding Shame, along with other guides for those on their own journeys. When I’m not working with clients or writing, I’m outdoors with my family, playing music, gardening, or experimenting with crafts like candle-making and designing my own clothing.

Ultimately, my story is about thriving. Whether it’s in therapy sessions, community events, or workshops, my goal is to help others find their strengths, overcome shame, and reconnect with who they are. I believe that we all have the capacity to thrive, to adapt, and to become the best versions of ourselves, and my mission is to make that journey as supportive and enriching as possible for everyone I work with. I believe in the power of thriving through connection, creativity, and holistic wellness, and I’m always eager to connect with others on this journey.
